Looking for the Best World of Warcraft Weapons?

World Of Warcraft WoW Valkors Gold Making Guide #1 Selling Gold Making Guide.

Well, it's pretty obvious why you would want to know more about World of Warcraft weapons, now isn't it? To make your character fast and efficient, and more importantly, an awesome, killing machine, you need to properly arm yourself. Also, it couldn't hurt to research the available weapon skills for your specific class first; there is nothing like buying an expensive rare weapon only to find you cannot even use it.

First, you will want to consider what level range you are in. For instance, at the lower levels, such as one to fifteen or so, even mages and warlocks can do decent melee damage; thus a melee weapon increase is not a bad idea. Whereas later, monsters will maul anything except melee-oriented classes if they even dare attempt such a strategy. Lesson to be learned? Know your limitations and what style of fighting suits you.

As I mentioned above, for the earlier levels it is quite viable to use the plain old starter-type weapon; you improve that basic staff by replacing it with a better staff and so on. Obviously, if you happen to possess a weapon that far out-does your current one and it is of a different skill type feel free to train that different weapon skill up and use it. Still the trek between cities for just the right weapon skill often wastes valuable leveling time, especially at lower levels.

Some pretty obvious types stand out for different classes as a generally good choice, such as a dual sword-using rogue for fast pure damage killing strategies. Warriors are also better off using dual-wielding unless they possess an extremely good two-hander for the level range they are in; the faster attacks and increased rage more than make up for the increased miss rate and lower one-hit damage.

The caster classes like druid, mage, and warlock, however, have much more emphasis placed upon the weapon's improvement to statistics, rather than direct damage dealt to the target. This sometimes makes it much easier to find a weapon or, alternatively, results in using the same staff for a long time. However, I often find it easier to get a generally good stat-increaser, rather than a good damage-dealing weapon.

Another successful strategy is to use weapons possessing the right speed for whatever abilities you primarily use. Instant special strikes are better with slower, high damage, ranged weapons, and strikes that function instead of a normal attack (special ability strikes) may do better with a speedier weapon.

I recommend that you either build your talents, skills, and abilities around a specific very good weapon, or that you get a weapon to complement your existing talents, skills, and abilities. Always consider the possibility of changing your character to use a vastly superior style of weaponry; it can be seriously worth it.

Good luck picking the weapon that is right for you!
